During all my recent stays in the Lion City I have been spoiled by the best luxury hotels in Singapore. From the best suite in W Sentosa cove, a Marina view clubroom in Marina Bay Sands and the presidential Suite in the Intercontinental to the most historical room in the first luxury hotel in Singapore The Raffels. I have never been disappointed in Singapore but all hotels have a different style. Let me tell you my experiences and find you the best hotel pools in Singapore.

1. Raffles Singapore
Following the footsteps of famous personalities of the world on the free historical tour of this hotel, you will be assured why they chose to stay here. The Raffles was the first luxury hotel in Singapore and one of the last remaining hotels of the 19th century. It has been declared a national monument, no wonder why. Although it’s surrounded by skyscrapers of the business district on the Beach Road, it kept its colonial architecture and historical aura. If you are looking for the best luxury hotel in Singapore that is more than just a hotel stay, this is your best bid. The high ceiling rooms are recently refurbished, and are facilitated with the latest technology. While the room is spacious with a comfortable bed, the bathroom is not so big. Every room comes with a butler that is at your service anytime a day. Staying at The Raffles you are treated as a royal from the moment you enter till the moment you leave. The staff is extremely friendly and caters to all your needs. The Raffles Hotel is famous for its high tea at Tiffin, which is a must, and the Sunday champagne brunch is scrumptious too! There’s also a secluded pool on the rooftop, that is perfect to chill at, it’s quiet and relaxing. 2. Intercontinental Singapore
Want to be a tourist on a business trip? This hotel is perfect for whatever kind of stay you want, a business trip, family trip, a trip with friends or a solo trip, the Intercontinental is one of the best 5 star hotels in Singapore that caters for every traveler. Its strategic location makes it convenient for all. A plus to this hotel it has an entrance to the Bugis Junction Mall, not only that but it also is around the corner from the Arab Street and the Bali lane, two popular tourist spots in the city. Intercontinental Bugis’ presidential suite is magnificent and is on the top floor. It has a living room, a study, a sauna, sound systems and much more. It has recently been refurbished, and they have thought of the smallest details that make a big impact like a free 4G mobile, cameras, laptop and whatever you need to document your adventure or business. If you want to enjoy the presidential suite one night is not enough. When it’s time to get all the work done, the lounge is the place to go, it has good food, free drinks and a motivating atmosphere.

3. St. Regis Singapore
From check-in to check out you’re treated as a royal, that’s not strange when staying at the St. Regis. Getting to the hotel from the airport by a Bentley promises an outstanding quality stay. Arriving at the hotel makes you eager to explore what’s around you as it is situated on the most famous road in Singapore, right on Orchard Road. Everything is within walking distance. Of course, after a long day of traveling, you need a massage to loosen up your back. Nowhere better to go to than the Remède Spa, you’ll be taken care of from tip to toe. When done, your 24-hour butler is waiting for you in your room, who makes sure that you’ll have all you need to get ready for your adventure the next day. If you like to be treated as a royal this might be the best place to stay in Singapore for you. Also, suites are very spacious, and have huge bathrooms. You can also choose which pillow you’d like to dream on from the pillow menu. Let’s not forget the suites view of the sunset over the Botanical gardens. The complimentary breakfast you get is really a Kings breakfast with a lobster omelet with caviar being its signature dish! 4. W Sentosa Cove
What is the best hotel in Singapore for families? This might be what you are looking for. Situated on Sentosa, an island connected to Singapore, away from the city is the W Sentosa Cove. With all the great views it has looking over the marina, a suite with a 270 degree view, you wouldn’t close the curtains at all. Other than the floor to ceiling windows, you’ve got a wide balcony with a sunbed. With the Bose sound systems in the room, you can have your own private party! Other hotel pools usually close at night, but not at the W Sentosa cove so to me this is considered one of the best hotel pools in Singapore, it’s open for 24 hours. If you’re lucky with timing, you can attend the monthly pool party at the resort too. If you ever think of leaving the resort to go exploring, the hotel offers a 4G smartphone to use for free, no need to waste time looking for a good data deal. There’s also a metro, which is easy to use close by, and the FREE sky metro a bit further. This hotel is perfect for people looking for the best 5 star hotels in Singapore outside the city. The location of the Ritz is very centralised and all rooms have a great view, your bathtub alone has its own view overlooking the Marina Bay. Checking in to a room with a view of the Singaporean skyline, makes you stay up all night to take in the beauty of this place. The rooms are equipped with high technology, you’ll be entertained just figuring them out. After a long day, out in the Singaporean weather, a fruit platter to cool you down is what you’ll find waiting for you at your room; perfect for an afternoon snack. Don’t know what or where to eat for dinner? Then head on to the Colony restaurant, it has 7 different food stations to choose from. If you’d like your stay to be more exclusive, you can opt for the Ritz Lounge, which is one of a kind. The friendly staff will make your stay extra special. 6. Shangri-La Singapore
Shangri La Singapore is the luxurious hidden gem of the best hotels in Singapore and it’s only ten minutes away from Orchard Road by foot. Its location gives easy access to explore the Botanical Gardens of Singapore, named a UNESCO World Heritage site. It was the first Shangri-La that opened its doors to the public, and it is the first option for presidents and diplomats. The a-la-carte breakfast is what makes waking up in the morning easier. Although the hotel is going through refurbishment, its rooms are a little outdated. Like all of the best 5 star hotels in Singapore the services are impeccable, all facilities are remarkable and the restaurants are amazing. 7. Marina Bay Sands
When you ask me about what is the best hotel in Singapore I wont tell you it is Marina Bay Sands. But well, Marina Bay Sands is something that most people that like to stay in luxury hotels in Singapore have on their bucket-list. Talking about the best hotel pools in Singapore if not in the world. Marina Bay Sands has the longest and one of the highest infinity pools in the world. It is perfect to go there with friends, or family. It is not strange to see the place is constantly packed with people as the hotel includes three towers. Being one room out of the 2,500 rooms, a personal treatment is not guaranteed. The Clubroom I stayed at was spacious and the bathroom one of the largest ever. Waking up in this room is an advantage as its floor to ceiling windows allows you to experience sunrise over Singapore from your bed. This famous Singapore landmark is often regarded as the best luxury hotel in Singapore, I don’t really agree, but I admit it is well worth the experience. Check out their weekly deals here!
8. Hotel Jen Tanglin
The quality and comfort of this four-star hotel wasn’t surprising, it is a brand of the Shangri-La Hotels Group. It has a superb location close to the Botanical gardens, a very tranquil atmosphere. What’s also great about this hotel is it provides FREE BIKES AND GOPROS for the explorer in you, you can go anywhere around discovering the district. If you ever miss the hustle and bustle, Hotel Jen Tanglin has a complementary shuttle to the business district, another money saver. After a day out and about, it’s nice to get back to the pool at the hotel where you can also get a full body massage in the next door spa. Who doesn’t want that after a day full of exploring? It doesn’t matter what time you head for dinner there’s always good food served at the cozy 24-Hour J65 restaurant. As soon as you’re done eating all the good food, your body goes to shutdown mode, all you need now is a bed! Although the rooms Hotel Jen Tanglin is not as spacious as the suites at the Five-Star hotels, how comfortable the bed is pays off. Of course, let’s not forget the sofa integrated into the window where you can chill and watch the sunset over Singapore. Not as luxurious as its bigger brother the Shangri-La, but it’s perfect for millennials who are -looking for an uncomplicated, comfy environment. Where to stay in Singapore
As you can see there are numerous luxury hotels in Singapore though all have their own signature written on it. Some go beyond luxury, while others are the perfect retreat away from the bustling city or have the historical touch you might be looking for. Orchid Road is definitely the best area to stay in Singapore for shopping, while people that are looking for a more cultural experience would opt for areas close to Little India and China Town. The best luxury hotels in Singapore with a central location are the ones around the Marina Bay area. On a relaxing holiday and not that much interested in the bustling city life then opt for one of the best 5 star hotels in Singapore: W Sentosa Cove.
