As there are so many different things to do I cannot just name the best Thailand itinerary. 14 Days is too short to see everything, but it is possible to squeeze in the highlights.

Unfortunately another tragic accident occurred on Koh Tao in January 2018 with a British traveller was found death in a hotel pool. There are a lot of rumors going around but no one really knows what happened. Fact is that they found another dead body, one of the many tourist deaths in Thailand per year. Koh Tao was already struggling with a very bad reputation after the Koh Tao murders in September 2014 when a British couple was killed and left behind on Sairee Beach, the most popular area to stay in Koh Tao.

  • Although I had 3 amazing days in Koh Samui I can’t wait to go home! Yes, this is how I feel when I am boarding a boat to Koh Tao. Right now I am on the Lompraya high-speed ferry that takes me from Koh Samui to Koh Tao in 2 hours. Price? $17! It was my 3th time visiting Koh Samui, I really like it, but what I learned in 3 days Samui? I really adore Koh Tao so much more, by far my favorite island of the east coast in Thailand.
