Welcome to a sleepy little beach town in and between two of the most visited tourist destinations in Mexico! Sounds like a great plan to get a little away from the tourist trail and off the beaten track in Quintana Roo, right? The coastline down from Cancun all the way South to Mahahual surely has loads of undiscovered places and Puerto Morelos is one of them. On my Yucatan itinerary I reserved two days to get to know this lovely beach town. Read all about my experiences in this Puerto Morelos travel blog, with tips for restaurants and things to do.

If you haven't been to Mexico before you’re likely to stay in a large resort or perhaps somewhere in Cancun or Playa del Carmen, both cities are drawing many tourists. Obviously, there are also other places to visit which are less known by the large audience. Puerto Morelos is one of those little Caribbean towns with a friendly, laid-back atmosphere. Read all about it in my Puerto Morelos travel blog.

In March 2019 I visited Yucatan for more than 2 months and saw all the Yucatan Peninsula highlights. But don’t worry this Yucatan itinerary is not gonna last 2 months! To tick off the best things to do you in Yucatan Peninsula will need at least two weeks, but even if you have less time making a road trip is a great idea. You will just have to pick your favorite tourist destinations. With all the tips and links to more Yucatan travel blogs Im sure I can help you.
