    The holiday season is coming, the most wonderful time of the year is almost here. I love Christmas, which is what made me think of a Christmas city trip. Throughout Europe many cities have Christmas markets and special decorations this time of the year. I wanted to visit a city where I had never been before and which is famous for its Christmas markets and celebrations.     Whatever time of year it is, I’m a real nature and outdoor fan. I love to be outdoors and explore new and familiar places. Being stuck at home because of a global pandemic has made me go out and enjoy nature even more.

    I go out for a descent walk a few times a week in the forests and hills of South Limburg in the Netherlands. We had a long and pretty warm Autumn, but now that Winter has kicked in, my windproof softshell jacket and thin hiking trousers are no longer sufficient.
