Austria

My annual returning ski trip to Salzburgerland with Alpin rental was this year scheduled for mid January 2020 and I was one of the first ones to check out and review Elements Resort Zell am See. This brand new resort by Alpin Rentals just opened its doors in December 2019. In this blog you can read all about my experiences.

The holiday season is coming, the most wonderful time of the year is almost here. I love Christmas, which is what made me think of a Christmas city trip. Throughout Europe many cities have Christmas markets and special decorations this time of the year. I wanted to visit a city where I had never been before and which is famous for its Christmas markets and celebrations. There was only one city that ticked all the boxes; Vienna!

Visiting Vienna is most probably not on everyone’s bucketlist but after spending 4 days in this city I think every traveler has to travel to Vienna once. The city is rated as world’s most livable city and after my Vienna trip, where I strolled along the historic cobbled streets and famed opera houses, I am a fan of Austrian’s capital and its impressive buildings and laid-back atmosphere.

For the tenth time Vienna has been crowned the world’s best city to live in. Maybe you think that this recognition is enough to draw the tourists in? Let’s talk about that in another Vienna travel blog because let me first introduce to you the amazing Hotel Daniel Vienna in this review article.

My trip through Europe in December 2020 also brought me to Vienna Airport again. As there are many intercontinental flights arriving I put together this blog about buying an Austria sim card upon arrival at Vienna Airport. I researched all the opportunities, checked out the prices and came with a conclusion. Also click here for my complete Vienna travel guide full of tips for a weekend in Vienna.

In December 2019 on my trip through Europe I landed at Vienna Airport again. There I did my research for buying a sim card at Vienna Airport before I went to the city and compared all the Austria prepaid sim cards to find the best one for tourists. In this article you can read all about the prices, the best network and the best sim card for traveling in Austria.

It was not my first time skiing in Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn. Last year winter I was here already the 4th time and last July I even enjoyed Saalbach in summer. Seeing the mountains of Salzburgerland in summer was a great experience, but I still prefer winter trips to Austria. So when I got a chance to review Stockinggut Leogang I didn’t hesitate a second.
