Israel

Two and half year after my first visit to Israel I finally came back. It took a little while but the National Security officers let me in. No wonder they had a lot of questions, I just returned from a trip to Syria and I must say apart from the endless waiting, they were really nice to me. But hello Tel Aviv I was back…

It took me 2,5 years to travel to Israel for the second time. On my first Israel trip I learned how expensive it is to travel here, but I also found out that in contrast with everything else mobile internet in Israel was cheap! On my visit in August 2019 I researched the best sim card for Israel travel and in this blog you can read all about it.

In August 2019 I finally made my way back to Israel. My article about everything to know when you travel to Israel was my first big hit on Google rankings and therefore it holds a special place in my heart. I bought a sim card at Tel Aviv Airport myself and wrote all my tips down for you. In this article you can read everything about the best Israel sim card at Ben Gurion Airport.

If you are looking for a unique experience then you should consider a trip to Israel, a country full of contrasts. In May 2017 and August 2019 I was able to visit Israel and had such amazing experiences that I could come up with a ton of reasons why you should also travel to Israel. Like everywhere else there are also a couple downsides about traveling to Israel, which I discuss at the end of this travel blog. But most of all this is a unique place to visit.

You know where to find the Western Wall and the beach in Tel Aviv, but now you are looking for more unique things to do in Israel, right? Everywhere you will find the same lists of things to do but I created a list with a couple fun things to do in Israel that are completely different and you wont find in an Israel travel guide. Take a look at this list and I am sure this you will spice up your travels in this amazing country.

Are you up for going to the Midburn Festival in Israel? What is that? The second biggest Burning Man Festival after the original one in the US. What? Damn of course I want to go, where do I buy tickets… Two weeks later I boarded a plane in Australia, also known as my horrortrip from Sydney to Tel Aviv to fly all the way to Israel for Midburn Israel.

The first week on my trip to Israel I was surprised in many ways. There were so many things I did not expect that I decided to start writing them all down. I love going to a country without any expectations, because those who have expectations can only get disappointed! Right? I found many reasons to visit Israel, but also some things I didn't like and that is how came up with this list of things to know before you travel to Israel.
