Once you have that, the app feels the same as the website. Searching through available eSIM plans is very easy. You can also easily put together your eSIM yourself in the app. You choose how many GB's and how many calling minutes you want and pay for.
Coincidentally while testing ETravelSim, we ran into a small issue. During the purchase process you have to fill in your billing address. Many fields are dropdown menus and so is the field 'country'.
I chose my own country here but strangely enough got the error message: 'Country is not a valid country'. I contacted customer service about this and was advised to purchase my eSIM via the website. Later they came back to us and said the error was fixed now and shouldn't appear anymore.
Finally, I made the eSIM purchase via the website. Which went super smoothly. You get a confirmation in your email immediately and straight afterwards also the QR code. Because I had already installed the app and created an account the purchased eSIM was directly available in my app.
